Kenosha Street


Proposed improvements along Kenosha Street focus on improving pedestrian and bicycle connectivity between key corridors, neighborhoods, and nearby schools.

Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements

New sidewalk and sidepath facilities are proposed along Kenosha Street, including:

  • A 10‑foot shared‑use sidepath along the north side of Kenosha Street

  • A 5‑foot sidewalk along the south side of Kenosha Street

These facilities would connect to:

  • Aspen Avenue to the west

  • 9th Street to the east

  • Elm Place, providing additional north–south connectivity


Intersection and Traffic Improvements

Turn lane improvements are recommended at the intersection of Kenosha Street and 9th Street to improve traffic operations.


Neighborhood and School Connections

Additional connections are proposed to improve access to nearby neighborhoods and community destinations:

  • The sidewalk and sidepath along Kenosha Street would connect to the Hillside Drive sidewalk and sidepath via a north–south sidewalk/sidepath along 27th Street

  • The sidewalk and sidepath would also connect to Timber Ridge Elementary School via 33rd Street
